Kidspiration in the Classroom: Reading Essentials
Designed for two grade spans, K-2 and 3-5, the Kidspiration in the Classroom: Reading Essentials lesson plan book offers 50 standards-based lesson plans designed specifically to support K-5 reading curriculum.
Lessons for grades K-2 focus on early literacy and the essential components of effective reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary and comprehension. For grades 3-5, the lessons focus on teaching comprehension, vocabulary and content literacy. Many of the book's lessons make use of the activities included in Kidspiration 3.

Kidspiration in the Classroom: Math Made Visual supports teachers as they help students develop mathematical concepts, skills, thinking and reasoning.
30 lesson plans are included, aligned to NCTM standards and designed specifically to support K-5 math instruction using Kidspiration 3.
Lessons focus on core content strands, including number and operations, algebra, measurement, and geometry, in contexts that promote problem solving, reasoning and communication. Utilizing activities created in Kidspiration, these lessons help students develop conceptual understanding while communicating their thinking with pictures, models, words, numbers, math symbols and the math tools available in Kidspiration 3—color tiles, pattern blocks, base ten blocks, fraction boxes and fraction tiles.

Kidspiration in the Classroom: Writing Essentials
Kidspiration in the Classroom: Writing Essentials supports teachers as they help K-5 students learn the process of writing well. The book offers standards-aligned chapters and lessons on prewriting, drafting and revising, editing and publishing and forms of writing.
Utilizing activities created in Kidspiration, lessons are aligned to standards, and are designed specifically to support K-5 writing instruction using Kidspiration 3. Kidspiration in the Classroom: Writing Essentials also includes references to suggested reading materials and other resources for teaching students how to appreciate and learn the nuances of quality writing.
